Welcome to IMPROVE by Charity, I am Charity Willems and consider myself one of the ‘lucky few’ who has turned her hobby into her job. I can truly say that Permanent Makeup (Cosmetic & Medical) and Skin Improvement are my two passions!

What makes Permanent Make-up so much fun for me is the diversity. During the 12 years that I have been a Permanent Make-up Specialist, I have treated thousands of clients. Everyone has her or his own wishes. The result is always different, but they have one thing in common: it is and remains custom work.

I also think it is important that I can give everyone my time and attention.

Sometimes it is purely cosmetic, such as updating an eyeliner or creating beautiful new Powder Brows. At other times I am helping a young man who has Alopecia (local baldness) to get a new pair of eyebrows. When I speak to him again after a few months and hear what positive impact my ‘work’ has on his life, it honestly gives me a kick

I have been a certified beautician for over 19 years with a fascination for the skin. The skin is a beautiful organ and capable of many improvements. In the years I have been treating I have seen so many amazing results. In my studio the skin is central and I like to make a plan to transform your skin into a beautiful, young, radiant and shiny skin with strong skin-improving treatments.

In the Netherlands at, among others, Reut Ellis: Natural Brow, Stacie Rae: Areola, Lee&Chaum: Asian Brow.

After gaining a few years of experience, in addition to my work as a PMU Specialist, I also started working as a teacher at the PMU Academy. It was a pleasure to be able to share my knowledge and train dozens of PMU specialists. I also gave various Masterclasses such as: Powder Brows, Nano Brow, 3D Hairstrokes, Lips, 3D Areola, Medical Camouflage, Microneedling and Scar Improvement.

With this experience under my belt, I still teach at the Lefever Academy in Almere. Together with Lisa Lefever I give various master classes such as Medical Pigmentation, 3D Areola, Medical Camouflage and Scar Improvement. Since January 2022, we have also been providing a Basic Cosmetic Permanent Make-Up course, and in six months we train ladies to become PMU Specialists.
